In 2023, we have been proud and happy to support the Marseilles-based start-up Syroco in its world record and environmental innovation projects.
Syroco is committed to supporting the energy transition in maritime transport through technological innovation. As a company committed to the region and involved in its energy transition, we decided to support Syroco's project.
Today, almost 90% of the world's goods are traded by sea. This trade is responsible for 3% of global CO2 emissions. To reduce this environmental impact, Syroco is developing an innovative digital twin technology to decarbonise maritime transport by making ships more efficient and environmentally friendly.
Our goods travel almost exclusively by sea, both for import and export. So it was clear that a project generating innovation to decarbonise maritime transport made sense for the Group.
On February 10, 2023, Syroco welcomed our team to their workshop in Anse du Pharo, to sign the partnership agreement and place the "Groupe Brousse" logo on the radio-controlled prototype.

True to our DNA and in response to today's challenges, we have to be responsible in order to limit food waste as much as possible. What we can't sell, we donate to those in need.
Since their creation, all our brands' products have been designed with our partners to use as much environmentally-friendly and recyclable packaging as possible, such as cans and cardboard packaging. Our long-term aim is to offer only 100% recyclable packaging, while limiting the amount of plastic used.
The Marsatac music festival has been held in Marseille since 1999, and is one of France's leading urban and electronic music festivals, with a strong local presence and a reputation for young Marseilles artists. Since 2022, Brousse & Fils has been committed to its local area and is proud to be associated with local art and culture, giving it a national profile.
This partnership is aimed at modernizing the image of dates, introducing a younger audience to dried fruit and, above all, developing local art and culture through a festival that is committed to sustainability and solidarity.
