Quality policy

A Quality Policy Burned Deep in our DNA

Driven by the conviction that excellence is rooted in expertise and an impeccable grasp of the product, we have upheld a quality management system approach across all our operations since the late 1990s.

Specialists bear a responsibility to their clients encompassing competence, quantities, and service standards. In fulfilling these responsibilities, we exercise meticulous consideration in our choice of suppliers, prioritizing the safety, quality, and ultimate satisfaction of our products and customers

For this reason, our quality system hinges on two main strategic lines:

  • formalizing and giving structure to our expertise by improving the reliability of our order picking, logistics and inventory management,
  • standardizing interdepartmental communication channels in the interest of customer satisfaction, by identifying client/supplier/transporter requirements.

Regarding our products, we ensure adherence to specifications, guarantee organoleptic quality (taste, color, texture) maintain label conformity in line with current regulations (INCO, nutritional values, etc.) and uphold packaging quality. We consistently monitor our suppliers' facilities, particularly during production campaigns.

To ensure the dependable and secure traceability of goods, our IT tools (ERP, WMS) play a pivotal role across the entire supply chain.

In the realm of food safety, our commitment extends beyond industry standards and practices. We rigorously follow the annual updates to our HACCP plan and additionally conduct regular, random analyses on our products to ensure their safety and compliance.

FOOD SAFETY CULTURE

Food safety is at the heart of our company policy: to guarantee the distribution of safe and compliant products.

We are responsible for the safety, hygiene and regulatory compliance, specifications and expected uses of the foodstuffs we source, import and distribute.

Brousse's management is committed to ensuring that roles and responsibilities in terms of food safety are clearly communicated within each of the company's activities. They rely on the transversal nature of the Quality Department to inform, centralize, control and encourage the transmission of a shared food safety culture to all the company's players and stakeholders.

oUR CERTIFIED ACTIVITIES

The activities of Brousse Vergez S.A., Ambro Foods, Axe Fruit, Delieuze, Arguydal and Euro Partenaires are IFS BROKER certified. Just like those of Brousse GmbH in Germany.

  • the implementation of a quality management system,
  • the responsibility of the company's management for the development of quality control systems,
  • the reliability of the selected subcontractors,
  • transparency of all company processes,
  • traceability of all products.

The conformity of organic products within the companies Brousse Vergez S.A, BV Création and Axe Fruit with the official European regulations of organic agriculture is certified by Ecocert.

THE MAIN PRINCIPLES OF OUR POLICY

OUR MAIN MISSION:

Our overarching goal is to establish and maintain direct producer connections worldwide, facilitating the supply of high-quality, safe products that align seamlessly with their intended applications.

We lay significant emphasis on meticulously selecting our suppliers and cultivating enduring, responsible relationships with them (SUPPLIER AXIS). We prioritize food safety and the quality of the raw materials we offer in the market (PRODUCTS AXIS), while simultaneously delivering an unparalleled level of service to our customers (CUSTOMER AXIS).

THE MAIN LINES OF OUR GENERAL POLICY:

The three first ones embody the three dimensions of the trading profession:

  • The product axis: guaranteeing the food safety, quality and traceability of the products that we supply by disseminating the concept of food safety to all employees, in every department, and by monitoring our quality objective through the follow-up of complaints.
  • The customer axis: to be permanently listening to our customers to satisfy, improve, innovate, anticipate.
  • The supplier axis: to privilege the "long term" approaches to build long-lasting and beneficial relationships.

The following ones aim to promote sustainable development, that is to say economically efficient, socially equitable and ecologically responsible:

  • The economic axis: choosing growth and reinvesting the results generated to grow, innovate and perpetuate. Establish a culture of results and purpose, within a logic of responsibility.
  • The social axis: placing people at the center of our operations with an agile organization, autonomy, well-being at work, an involved wage policy, training. Respecting the company's ethics and values in our internal and external interactions: honesty, integrity, respect for equality between men and women, non-discrimination.
  • The environment axis: behave responsibly towards the environment in the exercise of our activity.

Our General Policy is shared with all employees, as it serves as a guiding principle that influences every action we take.
